Instructions

  • Jajuk is self-signed so you will be prompt to accept Jajuk launching: accept safely temporary or permanently
  • The Jajuk Web Start version comes with exactly the same features that standalone installer

Windows users

  • Java should be auto-installed under Windows if using Internet Explorer. If not, you will need at least JRE 1.5.0_6 (JRE 1.6 is strongly recommended). Check out install java if you need help installing Java.
  • Mplayer is automatically downloaded in Jajuk cache for Windows users. Installing mplayer manually is not possible.
  • If the "web start Jajuk Now" doesn't work you should try to download and check out the Windows installation guide.

Linux, Mac OS, and others

  • If the "Web Start Jajuk Now!" link doesn't work, you can still start it running the command:
javaws http://jajuk.info:8001/jajuk-notest/app
  • You will need at least JRE 1.5.0_6 (JRE 1.6 is strongly recommended). Check out install java and Category:Installation Guides if you need help installing Java.
  • (Optional) it is best to have mplayer installed on your system. Check out install mplayer if you need help to install mplayer.
  • Automatic shortcut and menu creation doesn't work, install RPM instead or create shortcuts manually with following command: javaws http://jajuk.info:8001/jajuk-notest/app or launch javaws, select Jajuk and execute.
  • If the "web start Jajuk Now" doesn't work you should try to download and install Jajuk.

Notes

  • After the first try the application will work offline, use the shortcut on your desktop to start it (Windows and Mac only).
  • To uninstall Jajuk from the cache execute:
javaws -viewer
